Overview
Laprenge Staffings connects skilled professionals with employers across technology, finance, engineering, retail, education, energy and more. We replaced their manual hiring workflow with a recruitment platform: job seekers build a profile once and apply in one click, employers post roles and request talent, and the Laprenge team matches from a growing database of candidates they have already reviewed.
The challenge
A staffing agency lives or dies on how fast it can put the right person in front of a client. At Laprenge, every new client request started at zero.
Every request meant a new ad. When a client asked for a role, the team posted a fresh application, waited for responses and started again.
Screening was done by hand, one candidate at a time. CVs arrived by email and messages, and each one had to be read and sorted manually.
Good candidates were lost after each round. People who didn't fit one role but were great for the next weren't kept anywhere the team could find them again.
It took a lot of people to keep it running. Sourcing, sorting and follow-up tied up staff who could have been serving clients.
Clients waited. The slower the search, the longer clients waited for a shortlist, and the easier it was to lose them to a faster agency.
Laprenge needed a system that remembered every good candidate and let the team respond to client requests in a fraction of the time.
Our approach
1. We turned every applicant into a lasting asset. Candidates sign up once, complete a profile with their skills and experience, and stay in the Laprenge talent pool. Every review the team does is saved, so the pool gets more valuable with every hiring round.
2. We made applying effortless. Job seekers browse open roles by industry, see whether a role is remote or on-site, its level and its closing date, then apply in one click with their saved profile. More completed applications means a bigger pool.
3. We gave employers their own front door. Companies sign up as clients and post roles or request talent directly, instead of sending requests by email that the team retypes.
4. We built the candidate database the team works from. The admin gives Laprenge a database of candidates the team can qualify, sort and search. When a client request arrives, recruiters find the right people in the pool and send their profiles straight to the client in a few clicks, instead of posting a new ad and waiting.
5. We organised hiring around real industries. Roles and candidates sit under seven industry groups, from Technology and Software to Manufacturing, Energy and Logistics, so the right people surface for the right client.
6. We kept always-open applications for future demand. General, internship and open-role applications run year round, so Laprenge keeps collecting candidates before clients even ask.
The outcome
Laprenge Staffings now runs recruitment from one platform, and the change in how they operate has been significant.
Thousands of reviewed candidates, ready to go. The team matches from an existing pool instead of starting every search from scratch.
Candidate search time has dropped sharply. Qualified, sorted candidates are found in seconds, and their profiles go to the client without retyping a CV.
Faster delivery to clients. Quicker shortlists mean clients fill roles sooner and come back.
Fewer hands for the same work. Automation took over the sourcing and sorting that used to need more staff.
