Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Soft-Web Digital (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects when you use this website, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected].

1. Information we collect

When you contact us or request a quote. Through the request a quote questionnaire (on its own page and on the contact page), the Ready to Launch form or the business automation questionnaire, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, business name and location, and the details of your project. The quote questionnaires save your answers after each step, so a partly completed form is stored too.
Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
Advertising and measurement. We use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms. It records that your browser visited a page or completed a form on this site, and sends that to Meta together with technical details such as your IP address and browser information. We use it to measure how well our adverts on Facebook and Instagram work, and to show our adverts to people who have visited this site. The content of what you type into a form is not sent to Meta.
Cookies. This site stores a small item in your browser to remember your light or dark theme preference. The Meta Pixel sets its own cookies for the purposes described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses this data for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

To send you a confirmation email after you submit a form
To schedule follow-ups with you where you have asked us to get in touch
To measure and improve our website and our advertising

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

3. Who can see your information

Enquiries are visible only to members of our team who need them to respond, and access inside our systems is limited by role. We use the following providers to run this site, each of which processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments:

MongoDB Atlas, for storing form submissions
Resend, for sending emails
Google Calendar, for scheduling follow-ups
Calendly, if you choose to book a strategy session
ImageKit, for hosting images shown on the site
Meta Platforms, for the advertising measurement described above

Some of these providers store data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers.

4. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and under the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

Ask what personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate data
Ask us to delete your data
Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data
Withdraw consent you have given, at any time

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will act on it within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or your local data protection authority.

5. Data retention

We keep contact and questionnaire submissions for as long as needed to respond to them and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

6. Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally, for example as the site adds new features. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
